v3 deployed a contract per pool. v4 keeps every pool inside one PoolManager, so creating a pool and routing across several of them costs less gas.

Four changes under the hood, and the ten points where a hook actually runs.
v3 deployed a contract per pool. v4 keeps every pool inside one PoolManager, so creating a pool and routing across several of them costs less gas.
Each action records a delta instead of moving tokens. Only the net balance at the end of the lock settles, which is what makes multi-hop swaps cheap.
An optional contract attached to a pool when it is initialized. One hook can serve many pools, and it cannot be added, swapped or removed later.
Fees stop being three fixed tiers. A hook can price a swap from a few basis points upward, and re-price per block or per trade.
A hook declares these through getHookPermissions, and the same flags are encoded in the low bits of its address — which is why a hook has to be deployed to a mined CREATE2 address. Four extra permissions let it adjust balances directly: the swap, add-liquidity and remove-liquidity return deltas. Declare a permission the address does not carry and the deploy reverts; carry one and never declare it and the PoolManager silently never calls it.
Modular infrastructure for surfacing, composing and integrating custom Uniswap hooks. Combine Hook Blocks. Deploy your custom hook. Initialize new pools, or integrate with your project. On Robinhood Chain 4663, a launch opens a token in up to 8 Uniswap v4 pools at once, each running the Hook Blocks its creator picks, on Hookr's shared hook or on a hook of your own. Every block is readable before trading.
Anti-Snipe: Caps early buys and adds an LP fee in the first blocks. Dynamic fees: Fee scales with how far a swap moves the price. Auto Burn: Burns a share of actual buy output. LP Rewards: Fee share streams to LPs. Arb recapture: Keeps arbitrage value with the pool instead of outside MEV bots. Tax + Conversion: Buy and sell taxes, paid in the pool's quote. Buy/Sell Block: Stops one trader buying and selling in the same block. Revenue Router: Share your royalty among up to 8 payees, fixed at launch. On new pools a creator sets each block's parameters at launch and remixes the blocks into a hook of their own, and arb recapture is live on Hookr's hook.
A new token opens in up to 8 Hookr pools at once, one per quote asset, each with the Hook Blocks its creator chose fixed in at launch. Each pool trades through the Hookr router or Uniswap's Universal Router, the split router can split one trade across a launch's pools, and tokens launched on earlier releases keep trading in their original pools.
A creator can buy their own token inside the launch, holding at most 5% of the supply afterwards. The pools' liquidity then stays locked for 7 days by default, up to 365 days, while the bought tokens stay free and fees stay collectable.
A share of the block fees, 20% by default and up to 50%, never the base LP fee, and 25% of each arb recapture's profit on a pool that runs it. A Hookr token's pool that pays neither pays a minimum instead, currently 0.1% of each swap.
Yes: use Hookr's shared hook with a saved hook of your own blocks, or deploy a Hookr hook at an address of your own. Both cost gas only, with no Hookr fee to deploy, and either way your pools keep Hookr's launcher, router and treasury.
Hookr's contracts are unaudited. They have been adversarially reviewed, not externally audited.
Yes. Create pool opens up to 8 Hookr pools for a token that already exists, each with $10 over the full range from the creator's own token and quote, and it takes no power over the token. A v4 pool's hook is fixed when the pool is created, so the token's other pools keep running as they are.
Yes. Any asset with code on Robinhood Chain can be the subject or the quote of a hooked pool, including Robinhood's tokenized stocks. The pool inherits the stock's pause registry, so a pause of that token halts the pool. Most creators put the stock on the quote side and keep auto burn off it, because burning a stock destroys a claim on a real share.

The source-listed $Uv4 project token is 0x3788Ec3A27b36d8B792f84EE53800F82F0A4a099 on Robinhood Chain 4663. Always verify the full address before trading. Its listed market is a hookless Uniswap v4 pool. The app verifies the token's launchpad relation at a pinned block before showing project-token market or trade UI; an unavailable result is never inferred as either outcome.
